Return of Reckoning

Everytime I open the Launcher I am presented with this error

Running Repair instantly crashes the game with a similiar error code that goes on forever.

I have tried downloading the full game as well as the Torrent, both end up the same way.

What's going on here?

Most likely issue, judging from your error message, seems to be either your Torrent Client is still using the files, so they cant be accessed or some sort of Antivirus/Firewall blocking the files

Fixed that issue only to have another one,

Now I load into a black screen that doesn't go anywhere.

Try changing the game to windowed from
~/RoR/user/UserSettings.xml
If that doesn't work, post a screenshot of your RoR directory with filesizes shown.
