Launcher Won't Update/Connect Button Greyed Out

Hey all,

So recently I decided to join my friends playing on RoR.They walked me through the installation process multiple times but it always ends up at the same problem.
"What's the problem?" You may ask? Well, once I start the launcher, it just... starts. No patching no nothing. The login and password input work but the connect button is greyed out and unclickable.

So far I have tried (and hasn't worked):
1. Relocating it to C drive root.
2. Relocating it to D drive.
3. Reinstalling it 3 times through torrent.
4. Installing my friend's copy through google drive.
5. Installing it on a different computer.
6. Using the launcher's repair function.
7. Turning on compatibility mode.

Hey Lilim,

I am already in the discord and have already brought this topic to #technical-advice before (Koi#8008). I cannot be active for long periods of time so I think a forums is a better fit.
Maybe it's an issue where I can't access the servers because of my connection? Not really sure...

Fixed - Had to use a VPN.
