Still can't access my characters!

It's been several days now, started my thread here but it's since been locked: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=42110

To be clear, my issue is not affected by server up or down status, as I am able to access characters on a test account I created. I followed all the advice on the previous thread: firewalls, folder permissions, user/cache/appdata deleted, fresh installs, logging in from different PCs, from different locations, and every time this account gets "Login timed out" before I can see my character selection screen, and my test account logs in fine.

Please help!!

Long shot here, but would it be possible to move my characters over to this new account I created?

This is my fault as tens of players started creating threads and replying to old, unrelated ones out of panic, when the login server was down for some hours. It wasn't meant to lock your own thread's original content of course, sorry.
