Return of Reckoning

I logged in today after a while away (I had to reinstall) on a new PC. When I logged in I couldn't see my character's bodies, only their weapons. I thought maybe it was just lag so I picked a random character I had and logged into the game.

In game, I still can only see floating weapons of the character's around me, player characters and NPCs.

I got a buddy to install the game and he's have the same issue except he can't see the character he's creating.

Haven't tried this myself since I'm not having issues, but per the Advice channel in-game, try 1) running the game as an Admin, and 2) moving the game out of Program Files to another location on your computer. Multiple players seem to find that this works.

I just came back after years without playing MMO's.
but the Start isn't so nice.

Can't see my character while choosing and creating and later in game it's the same. Just seeing the moving Weapon.

I installed it in an Folder which is not under "Program files". Any Idea how to fix this?
Will try to restart my system and maybe try reinstalling DirectX...


A simple reboot helped!

If your graphics are bugged and your character is invisible, right mouse click on the war-64.exe -- select properties -- and rerun this program as an admin
