Installation Guide:
1. Go to www.returnofreckoning.com and do Step 1 - Step 3
2. Download the game (Torrent or direct from page)
3. Download the Luncher and Updater -
4. Go to you Konsole/Terminal and install Play on Linux
Konsole = sudo zypper install PlayOnLinux
5. Start PlayOnLinux
6. Click on Tools, then in Wine Versions.
- Install x86 the 2.19-staging
8. Hit the Install a programm button and then look at the corner on the left side (bottom) click the install a programm.. button again.
9. Next
10. Make a new drive with the name (WAR)
11. Hit all and then click next
12. accept the Wine Version 2.19-staging (32Bit)
13. Wine Config pop up
- Change Windows 7 to Windows XP
- Go to Graphics and accept all (my window is 1920 x 1080)
14. Install POL_Install_d3dx0, POL_Install_dotnet40 and POL_Install_mono26
15. Copy your Luncher und Updater in your Warhammer folder
16. Copy your Warhammer Folder in PlayOnLinux's virtual drives/WAR/drive_c/
17. Go in the same folder and mark RoRUpdater.exe, then hit the button Open.
- An Error will come, dont panic
its the process18. In the next window chose you the RoRUpdater.exe file to make a shortcut then Next
19. Mark your shortcut and click on Config
20. Change Wine-Version 2.19 (...... dumb programm) to 2.19-staging again
21. Go to Wine and click on Wine config
22. Click on Staging and enable CSMT for better graphic performence, then click on OK
23. Click on Installed components and Install, d3dx9, dotnet40 and mono26 again...
24. START your shortcut
25. Wait for Updates
26. Login with your username and password
