Cant find this RoRUpdater.exe amongst my files

Tried the following things already:

- remove read-only (doesnt work), no error message, its just back when I reopen options
- change folder owner (no luck in removing read-only either)
- run launcher as admin

Any suggestions?

From the sticky topic in tech support:

Access was denied to the path or file WAR.exe!

Unblock the launcher. (right click RoRLauncher.exe -> properties -> click Unblock button)

Remove the write-protection (right click the game folder -> properties -> disable read-only) from all the files in the WAR folder and try again. You may also try running the launcher with Administrator privileges.

The filepath here is an example, you must change it to match your install location

If you used the torrent to download the game, the torrent application may still be using the files. Either copy the entire WAR folder to a new location (if you wish to continue supporting the torrent), or move the entire WAR folder to another location to break access to the torrent.

I am having that exact same issue. Did you ever find a solution? I think I might have while Im writing you actually, I moved the Launcher and Updater from inside there own folder in the warhammer folder to having the launchers sharing the same folder as war.exe then ran the updater, now the file looks like its about 3523

Hello! every time I have to re - download the launcher and it start a neverending update (like 187.589 files downloaded every attempt). I followed slavishly your advice but every time is an ordeal. Do u have any extra idea? Thank you!
