Client download issues and troubleshooting

I downloaded the game and every time I open the launcher I get this error code "System.IO.EndOfStreamException: Unable to read beyond the e stream."

It also wont let me copy the entire code following it, but this is the "title" of the error.

Any Advice?

I've downloaded Elven's version and still get the d3dx9_34.dll error when trying to launch. I have directx 12 installed. Any ideas anyone?

The game requires legacy DirectX. You can download the full DirectX package from Microsoft's website:

Why does the launcher have to redownload everything if I close it mid-download? I find that odd and time consuming
