Cannot log in - Error (Build 61 summary) Unknown (retry count 5)!

Hello,

I have been playing a couple of months. Zero addons or any mods. Yesterday the launcher connect was grayed out for the first time. I hopped online and here to try to figure it out. Based on the suggestions I saw:

Rebooted my computer a few times.
I unclicked read-only attribute. Odd thing is this seems to come back everytime i check.
Relaunched the launcher repeatedly
I tried running as administrator.
I tried the repair button in the launcher, tried to change server - neither worked.
I finally just decided to reinstall the game - and it is giving me this same error in the launcher:

I am getting two errors when i fire up the launcher, connect button is greyed out:
Error (Build 61 summary) unknown (retry count 5)!
Error (Product Info) Unknown (retry count: 5!)

Based on thread here, i tried removing the art.myp, then tried removing the video.myp, then tried removing the vo_english. Then i downloaded the updated video.myp Max suggested in another thread. None of these worked.

I tried changing to test server. This actually worked to get me into the German language? server. All text was in German, none of my characters were there. Took the launcher a very long time before this happened - like 30 minutes. I was able to create a character, then exited game. Then from the launcher i changed from test to production, and the connect button immediately grayed out with the product info error immediately displaying.

Sitting here staring at the launcher window when it suddenly started downloading 8 elements. Got through downloading them all, connect lit up. When i clicked it i got an error in a separate window which i could not clip to notpad, so i tried to write down the first part:
Disconnected from server. Error system.net.sockets.socket exception failed because connect party did not...after a period of time.

Hopefully someone can help - the game has been flawless for the past couple of months.

-make sure the entire folder is whitelisted in your AV/FW
-try updating launcher manually: https://launcher.returnofreckoning.com/RoRLauncher.exe
-restart your router/modem
-try with VPN if you can (might be connection issue from your ISP)

Update for the thread in case future people have issues and are searching for solutions.

It corrected itself. I was leaving the launcher open while looking online, etc and as i said earlier, it did do a 6 part download of something when i was in the test. So i was just sitting there and the launcher did the 6 part download, and connect became available. I was able to get into and play the game (woo!).

So no idea - the launcher was down for over a day. So if you are experiencing this, at the very least leave the launcher up. I will update if more happens.
