Re: Computer Restarting... Please help

Did another round of tests on my hardware, and confirmed my clock speeds are in line with what my memory is supposed to be on the BIOS. Still no changes. I did some looking through my Error Logs, and 3 of crashes since my clean Windows Reboot errored and gave me a window notification that there was a problem with the program, and windows needed to shut it down. Subsequently as soon as I pushed the ok button those warnings, my computers still rebooted. I am going to post what I can of the window's event logs on these errors below.

Interestingly, I do not know if I mentioned this or not, but since doing a clean windows load, now when my system reboots from the game crash, it "fails to load properly" and causes a blue screen. I merely select to restart or shutdown the computer at this point to log into windows properly next time. Not sure if that helps anyone figure out the problem.

Here is what I can find on the Event log, please let me know if additional information can help:

This last one, I have 4 or so others like it, but at different times, no change in details.

I think this is fix for me... I downloaded the new Ryzen Adrenaline 2020 software, and it appears to have fixed much of the Ryzen issues with Directx 9 game capability… Played 2 hours in the T1 zone without a crash, so I assume it should work (or at least work well enough to enjoy). Hope this helps anyone else.

Did you download the cpu or gpu version of the software? I'm curious if I can use that Adrenaline software with my Ryzen despite having an nvidia gpu.

Unplug your VGA/HDMI from your GFX card, Open your PC case, physically remove your GFX card from the motherboard, blow on the motherboard connections to remove any dust, brush of any debris and dust from the card, then put it back in, making sure no wires or anything else are touching the card, and try again.

Good afternoon, a similar problem, I play any games without problems. It is worth running returnofreckoning as after a while the computer reboots.

Ok, so here is the original link I followed to lead the semi-solution I have:
https://community.amd.com/thread/241023

I cannot say I have done everything on that thread as I ended up downloading the Adren2020 thing to try and update my CPU (but never found it recommending any upgrades)

I had great success for almost 24 hours having no crashes, but then today they returned. Many were only Crashes to Desktop (far better) but at least 1 was reboot, so I might want to look into it more.

I know this game is older and Directx 9 games cause problems for the GPU's arch I guess... I have opened the case and dusted repeatedly, but I will attempt to remove the card and give it a better dusting just in case.
