Sometimes, Renatta the Bandit Queen appears in the dead of night when no one is about, but there are instances when her spawning means both sides of WAR must meet to defeat her. On one night recently, this was nearly the case, were it not for the pre-emptive strike of a loyal Chosen named Ooul. A dangerous Ironbreaker was posted up in Renatta’s cavern, resting on his axe and awaiting the arrival of his team.
It was then that Ooul and several members of Legacy of Legends, a Destruction Guild, came upon him.
At that point, the Ironbreaker had no intention of causing any harm, simply because his Guildmates had yet to arrive. Ooul looked down at the Dwarf suspiciously, remembering the many occasions when he had been caught flat-footed and out-manned.
The Dwarf looked up at Ooul the Chosen with little worry, confident that indecision on the part of his enemy would bring victory that night. If he simply stood his ground confidently, they wouldn’t dare to…
Without further thought, Ooul raised his axe on high and brought it down upon the Dwarf’s head.
“You will regret that,” the Ironbreaker declared, falling to the moist sod on the cave’s floor.
The unopposed slaying of his enemy seemed natural to Ooul, but he wondered—what did the Ironbreaker mean? Yet there was no time to waste, for Renatta was next.
The Zealot who was with Ooul had not hexed or healed when Ooul was killing the Dwarf. She was known to be fair-minded (considering that she was a corrupted chaos soul bent on saving the lives of various destroyers of civilization). She said calmly, “Perhaps that wasn’t such a good idea?”
“We won’t know the meaning of it until his allies find his corpse,” Ooul stated. “By then Renatta will be dead, we will have the loot, and we will be long gone.”
Ooul turned to Renatta, and his team focused on sending the ghostly form of the Bandit Queen back to oblivion. The Squig Herder with them took the loot, then Ooul and his comrades planned to move on to the Elf lair, where yet another re-occurring haunting needed to be controlled.
As Ooul left the cave, he wondered, “Will the Dwarf’s dying curse matter in the long run? Time will tell. But I am Ooul, Chosen of Tchar’zanek. The power of Chaos compels me.”

+1
I really hope he was one of the two stunties that jumped Orc in MB last night. That will teach me to sing 'Do your balls hang low...' to a stunty. That long walk back from Chapter one was kind of lonesome too.
