Re: Sildur's Enhanced graphics v1.03 - ReShade 4.2.1
You shouldn't be loading 75 effects. Reshade is best used with less than 10 concurrent effects. It's basically adding layers of additional GPU process for each effect you turn on, and after whatever amount you can handle I suspect it'll just crash.Shadofehr wrote: ↑Sat Mar 21, 2020 3:46 pm ]First, let me say I already tried to get help on the official reshade discord, with no luck. So, I just want to say, yes, i KNOW that's a thing, and I acknowledge it would be ideal if I could get help there. That being said...
Hey folks. I have installed the latest version of ReShade for Warhammer Online for use on the Retrun of Recking private server. When I open the launcher, I get a reshade message that ReShade is loading 75 effects, and that it might take awhile. It has been stuck at this stage (the effects dont appear to actually be loading) for over an hour. I CAN launch the game, and the environments look great, a definate improvement, but all the character models are solid white. Can anyone advise?
Re: Sildur's Enhanced graphics v1.03 - ReShade 4.2.1
I've seen all the comments about it not working so I redownloaded the game to check what's up. I actually managed to get access to the depth map, so I'm gonna update everything soon.
Not sure if I can make much use of the depth map tho, it has some issues. Since this is an online game the depth buffer access disables itself during high network activity, I would have to patch that out of the binary.

Updated the main post, new version is out. It should work fine with lightmaps, it does for me at least.
If it doesn't try clean installing the game again.
Delete your reshade folder before applying

The looks great but I have dark lines going across the screen most of the time. Any ideas?

Hej Sildur. Thanks for all the good job you've done.
I try to make it work for Linux.
