Re: 2026 Developer Roadmap
What will be reward for those city raids? Hope it finally will be big enough carrot for people to actually play city's. Overall it feels devs actually listened to our feedback. Hope they finally unblob rvr, give sc and city meaning, and give some endgame goals for veterans who slowly leave game. 25 talis for +10 stat is definetly not that goal btw. I wish they also realised feedback about some classes that stuggle with armorpen like bg and dok to fix gaps in balance that was created in previous patches. And im curios about focus groups, hope feedback not coming from same people who was responsible for WE dream rework, and pvp meta finaly became pvp balance, people are sick and tired from some classes clearly overperforming in all directions for years without fixes when other classes are struggling with dead specs, so pls do something to balance mirrors of classes and give way for all classes in smallscale, it will help with unblobing too. Last years was really rough and some people dont see sun behind the blob, hope summer will be goodnews for gameplay shifts.
Noximilien - AM, Severi - SM, Ravandin - SW, Celebor - WL, Ernwald - WH, Demandred - BG, Mesana - Sork, Beliar - DoK.

Re: 2026 Developer Roadmap
I’ve been hugely disillusioned with RoR the last six months and been very vocal about it, but this update will keep me playing for the foreseeable future as it gives hope, as clearly there’s lots going on behind the scenes.
I do hope RvR mechanics will get a proper overhaul as well, so we’ll see less numbing down of the game and fewer incentives to blob, opening up the game more to those that want to solo roam, play 6-men or be part of organised WBs.
Stay and RR trainer changes will hopefully tone some classes (cough regen DPS cough) down somewhat, but I’d also hope that once the rDPS patch is done we will see more frequent and minor rebalancing of overpowered / underpowered classes, so we don’t see the same outliers for years.
The campaign getting meaning will be huge - it’s what set WAR apart from other MMOs, as it felt like a war on multiple fronts.
The first test, I guess, will be the gear itemisation and the rDPS balance changes. If they work out well, it feels we have turned a corner and are slowly heading in the right direction again.
Either way, communications like these are hugely welcome and appreciated. Thank you for all your hard work!
