You are absolutely right. In Gibraltar for example 96% of citizens who voted, voted to stay in EU. Now it's really unfair to force a decision on them as it basically was outvoted, as you say, half+1.
If you think that Gibraltar voting to stay in the EU will make even the slightest dent in them preferring to stay with the UK than become part of Spain then you have never actually spoken to someone from there.

People on Gibraltar are highly reliant on the protection being in the EU gives for the freedom of movement, hell, Gibraltar economy relies a lot on it, most of it is just people from Spain entering it to get things cheaper than on the other side.

That is why the remain vote there won by a landslide, they need to remain in the EU.

And dont get me started in what happens if those rotten wastes of flesh and bones that is PP win the Sunday elections on Spain, getting in pissing contests just to claim how spanish they are while they steal with both hands is their favourite past time.

Neither the PP or the PSOE (socialist party) will do **** to fix our corrupted-to-the-root political system. So here I'm hoping they don't win the Sunday elections.

If you think the EU's corrupt...
Well, you've never been to Spain :D

Just today members of the Police went to a Newspaper HQ and demanded they were given the recordings of a current minister that were published this week where he talks with members of the Antifraud deparment about what they can give him to make the other candidates look bad in the next elections.

But it gets better, they had no order of the judge or anything like that so the exchange went as follows:

-Hey, we are here to retrieve the recordings.

-Cool, do you have an order from a judge?

-No, we were ordered to come here to do this but not from a judge.

-Cool, you aint getting **** then.

-Oh well, good evening then.

-Good evening.

I wish i was making this up.

The scaremongering is off the charts here right now. The pound and economy will take hits but they will recover.

I got alot to catch up on, have only read local news for the past 2-3 months, thanks for the "indirect" reminder that I have been slacking off. haha.

Edit read up on it. And, so it's pretty much comparable to Norways position, except that GBR has more "influence?" hard to find fitting words, I guess that it'll have some impact, but somehow I don't think much will change at all, other than some export/imports.

Personally I say let them try, I'm kinda interested to see the effects of it.

Hopefully, this will end well.

You're guessing just as much as those guessing negatively. This is uncharted territory and not even the experts have a clue how this will turn out. No matter what either camp thinks will happen there is a very real chance that the country will be worse off for it.

And there's also a very real chance that the country will be much better off. Roll of a dice, with the current roll, i.e. being in the EU, having always been a 1.

Can't see where the chance is.
