One thing that could make the tank archetype much more engaging would be to let Guard be used on any allied player, regardless of whether they're in your Warband, group, or party.
This would create a much more interactive gameplay experience where tanks can actively react to what's happening on the battlefield instead of being limited by group mechanics.
Benefits:
- More skill expression and situational awareness.
- Encourages tanks to protect vulnerable players during large-scale battles.
- Makes the tank role feel more impactful and dynamic.
- Creates memorable "hero moments" where a tank can save someone outside their immediate group.
Guard is one of the defining mechanics of the tank archetype. Allowing it to be used on any friendly player would strengthen that identity without changing the core gameplay.
I think this would make playing a tank considerably more rewarding and enjoyable.
Suggestion: remove party restrictions on "Guard"
