New Twilight's Tide Ring & Updates to Blood-Iron rings

Hi everyone,

Wanted to give an early heads-up on a couple things you're going to see in the next month or two. Often we wait for the patch to do this, but as this will adjust current stats on some items in-game now, we wanted to share this info ahead-of-time with you all:

Image

1. New Twilight's Tide Ring: Moonstone

A new gem, Moonstone, is being added to the Twilight's Tide event. This electric blue gem will provide Wounds and Initiative, and the Annulus version will grant 2% Block as its bonus stat. We've seen requests for a Block version of these rings for years, and after testing the waters with the Bastion Stair rings, we're now launching the new line of Moonstone rings next week!

2. Updated Blood-Iron Rings

We originally called the Block Ring in Bastion Stair "Citrine", because Citrine was a crit reduction everywhere else, but that didn't make sense for our Khorne-themed bonuses there. These Block Rings will be renamed to "Moonstone", and their stats adjusted from Wounds + Toughness into Wounds + Initiative, so that the stats and bonus are unified and follow the same pattern whenever a player sees "Moonstone" on a ring in the future.

Similarly, the Bastion Stair Diamond Rings will now follow the same stats as the other versions, and will soon grant Wounds + Toughness instead of Initiative + Wounds.

3. New Vale Rings

Starting this summer (either on June 12th or in the July patch), Moonstone rings will also become an option for players to choose when building a ring in the Lost Vale Dungeon.

That's all for now - we'll see you soon when Twilight's Tide returns next week, on June 12th!
