Love the new GCD changes!

Don't listen to the crybabies on here. These changes are rather good and make the game less sporadic button jamming. Much like FF14.

Except this is not FF14. It should not emulate it either. Actually RoR should go back to the things that made it so desirable that a few years ago we had over 1k players at prime.

Yey we all love less and less actual options how to play this game!

" The GCD on both AoR and RoR is 1.15 seconds. We know this is the case because the client allows abilities to be used 1.15s into the displayed 1.5s GCD as long as you get your timing right. If you invoke the ability too early, it will be blocked until the 1.5s GCD is up.

We previously had the server enforce the 1.5s GCD hard, and it resulted in client casts being cancelled. "

great change. should also add a GCD to abilities that can bypass GCD like feinted position, seal of destruction, leonine frenzy, brute pounce, vengence of nargarythe and such and such. no more 1 buttom ezmode ****.

This is probably the worst example, ff14 has a 2.5second GCD timer (yes obv slower than RoR) but for every class/spec you rotate atleast 1-2 off global cooldown abilities inbetween each GCD, making it 3 skills pressed/used every 2.5seconds (0.8333 seconds per ability, some classes like gunbreaker and DRK use more, like 3-4 OGCDs per GCD especially during a burst window so 0.625 as low as 0.5 seconds per ability for these classes). So either this is such a bad example by someone whos never played it or a dishonest lie to make the change look reasonable. (example of current gunbreaker rotation https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=myAgp6OJfy4 which is still a slower and easier rotation than that of a DRK)
