Return of Reckoning

I am currently running my WH through the T4 Epic Quest, I am level 34 atm. I am attempting to fight my way through the Caves of Despair in the Faith is Madness quest line. As I am fighting towards the Prisms, the mobs are spawning at such a rate that I cannot possibly fight through them before the others spawn on top of me. The respawn rate feels like its 30s-1min, could it be extended so that people can get through here without extra help? The rest of the questline so far has been pretty simple as far as kills and so on.

Also, am pretty new here and so it has very likely been addressed in the past, but, why does stealth not work against NPCs?

Basically the strat for that is to hit flee and just tap all 4 and just die to the champ at the end of the tunnel my dude dont try to clear. Also 34 is kinda low for the epics it is better to wait till rank 37 min since after you finished that part i wonder if it will even allow you to start the next section.

You can complete all the epic quests entirely at 32.
