but if you notice, if a 2/2/2 wb faces another 2/2/2 wb, regardless its a long fight, it scales nomatter how you have it, if both sides have tons of heals the fights take what feels like forever. take city fights for example, i have had defences on the first stage take the whole 25minutes on 1fight because neither side could wipe each other.
Yes, that tends to happen when you have two groups/wb that are pretty close to each other in composition and skill. Sorry you don't have an "I win!" button.
well if you played other MMORPGs you know in large scale fights its never as drawn out as it is in this game, take GW2 for example, even the biggest of fights dont last longer than 5minutes, because healing isnt as major in that game. just to say "equal skil" isnt an excuse to make a fight take forever, when a WH duels a WE, is it a 25minute fight because they are "equal skill" nice argument though.
Luckily this isn't another MMORPG!
I like long fights. Personally I think the TTK is to fast in this game. Espacially in city fights. I would like to have AOE dmg decreased by 25%. AOE skills make almost as much dmg as ST skills which makes them to powerfull and people are dying really fast all together.

Instead of asking for healing nerf, ask about unnerfing dps Zealot/RP.

Healers survivability needs to be toned down particular dok + wp and also buff rp + zealot dps tree.

jvlosky wrote: Wed Jun 24, 2020 7:40 pm It is a double edged sword. I agree sometimes healers just seem to take forever to kill. But with how the game is framed on 24+ vs 24+ with zergs up to 700 vs 700 (that is the most ive seen in one zone) the heals sort of have to be that way. It is the same reason that HEAVY AOE PRESSURE is meta because heals have to be able to support their group/warband.

The main place healing seems mega strong is for Ranked SC IMO. Some games will come down to just one kill over 15 mins. It is fun and I love it and I wouldn't change it but I can see where you are coming from at times.

That's just DPS not focusing

imagine a balance where first the AOE healdebuffs get nuked
then the AOE morales get effectively nuked (drop dozen morales and target might just /lol back due to -50% reduction)
then you let healing modifiers stack, RP+AM+WP+KOTB stacking even with SM self modifier, so you can have 205% incoming heals from a WP landing on the SM
And then you add defensive morales like M2 Bellows (attackers deal only 50% dmg) which then stacks with Challenge (attackers do -30% less dmg) which then can be further stacked with Raking Talons (attacker does 20% less dmg)... which then try landing dmg on a inv/sov geared WP that has 5k armor and can spam AoE detaunt (-50& dmg taken) with 100% uptime.

Dmg has been consistently nerfed, AoE healdebuffs have been nuked, morales have been nuked. Gear keeps providing ever higher defensive stats.
Then you wonder why 2 high level well organized warbands might be nuking it out for 30 mins in cities with very few deaths and both sides unable to achieve enough pressure and unable to bring down enough targets even with endgame geared DPS doing their absolute best at bursting down targets with 3-8 DPS hitting same target and it might still not be enough.
Warband gameplay is becoming just as interesting as some of those 6v6 ranked matches where after 10 mins its still at 0-0 killscores.

but those games are 0-0 because theres no coordination, just beating on each other

I've played plenty of other mmo. You're mad because you don't have an 'I win!' button to get rid of healers. That's a you problem, not a game problem.
