With the SW having a 25% armor penetration PLUS a -10% to block for 10 seconds I see no point in keeping my chosen with SnB.
Would not be surprised if next ability ignores guard too.

Re: Dropping my shield due to SW changes
Why would armor pen affect you using a shield?

Re: Dropping my shield due to SW changes
the 25% armor pen tactic only works for skirmish and it takes another tactic for the 10% reduced chance to be defended. You can block/evade arrows.. come on now
Re: Dropping my shield due to SW changes
Hey, i'm not her to judge - as a 6v6 guy all my tanks are obviously 2H, but why would that be the straw that breaks the camel's back? Wait till this guy learns what slayers do...

Re: Dropping my shield due to SW changes
Slayer completely ignores block and parry, which in fact has become the main reason why I do not use a shield. A whole class that completely ignores key mechanics and the most important part of the tank equipment. It is hard to imagine how the idea of such an abilities came to someone’s head, so, just drop the shield except when you push the door of an enemy keep.
Re: Dropping my shield due to SW changes
The rationale doesn't make a lot of sense.
