Yes, both careers are very similar, many abilities are exactly the same, i ask that those particular ones gets the same buff too. The skills that makes Squig Herder different than Shadow Warrior are the ones that have to do with playing along a Squig pet, those abilities coming to be Squigbeast and Squig Frenzy need that tweak to make them worth speccing into.

I also think every suposed mirrored careers should be different, this not meaning one should be better than the other as it happens in many cases. As good as Shadow Warrior is now, Range Squig should be too.

What if we just make more abilities that are different? That seems like a nice direction to go as well.

Different is good or may be bad. It needs to be really well put together to make each side have a equally strong worthy skill. As it stands right now, the abilities mentioned in this post (most of them) are exactly the mirror skills SH/SW share, it's only logical that those particular skills get the same type of buff/rework.

It is well known that tweaking/reworking/buffin a skill is way easier than make a totally new one. Makind a new skill is too much to ask for, a lot of hours put into.

Different is a tricky method to go for, it may mean one side gets something really good and the other side gets something bad, one side can get a really good skill for SingleTarget and the other gets an AoE skill. Which on this particular case just shouldn't be. We are referring to Range SW/SH. Which are almost exactly the same, being the difference, the squig pet and stances.

Shadow Warrior already has a better version which are called Stances, VoN and Steady Aim, M3 Bomb. Also not to mention that Melee SW is such a good single target spec. Now, what does Squig Herder has similar to VoN AND Steady Aim? Just a Tactic called All By meself that requires to not use a pet, and then an ability called Squig Frenzy, which is pretty lame being a 3 minute cooldown skill that pretty much is worthless taking in consideration that Squigbeast is a M3.

So what you could learn from this is that a Pet does not makes RSH better than RSW, actually it is somehow a penalty. Not having a controlled range Knockdown.

In the end. If you want Pets for Shadow Warrior then you should say good bye to Stances, VoN and Steady Aim. But, that does makes no sense, since WL is the one that has a pet.

I would but i honestly only play ranged sh when i play it as an alt and more for roaming than cities where probably melee squig is better.Ranged squig could really use some love.

Klesko wrote: Thu Jun 11, 2020 12:31 am The buffs should not be the same. The classes are asymmetrical despite outward appearances. Let's start with the fact that SH gets a pet and a ranged disarm. If you want mirror classes, you've got to strip the differences first. Don't think anyone wants that.
Both careers share exactly the same Paths, 2 of them are exactly mirrors at 95%, for real, look it up.
Shadow Warrior has stances that compensate the fact of not having a pet, which are better, and SW also has a range knockdown, so if you gonna come here and try to argument please do your research.

Yes, you are asking for an extremely strong class to get buffs.

Nope, im asking for the mirror class of Shadow Warrior to get the same buffs. It's only fair.

Range Squig Herder was as much as weak or even weaker than Shadow Warrior was before yesterday's patch. They share the exactly same Mastery Paths (2 to be exact).

Range Squig Herder is not an extremely strong class. Please don't come here to try change the subject without any type of source or evidence to back up what you are saying, it only works as a distraction to the topic in hand right here.
