Buffing 24 people is out of hand.

Off topic, a buff like BO and SW AP Regen could stand to affect that many. SW in particular could use some warband wide buffs to compensate for lack of aoe. 3 seconds of cc immunity for 24 people could be interesting. Make it a spec morale 4, start balancing underused specs for city encounters.

It certainly isn't. Don't post ignorance, maybe read the thread first. This happened because of the AOE cap change. It's certainly not intended that you can instantly give 24 people a damage reflect shield. If you want to do the same thing after the patch, you'll need a Chosen in each group and a fair amount of coordination to keep your warband in range of the same AOE, rather than just pop it in the middle of randoms and nuke players mid-cast.
Ignorance is increasing the aoe cap to 24 people.

Buff bright wizards while youre at it.

I can agree with that but consider increasing the range od the buff to 50-60ft.

@wargrimnir can You confirm that within 30ft means You are in the center of the 30ft circle and its accually 15ft from the caster?
No , anyone within 30 ft. Same for all radius abilties .

I can confirm radius means the same thing it did when we learned about it in elementary school.

30' radius means 30' radius. Luuca was poorly attempting to explain an aura that had its radius set to 20'

Typically "within X distance" refers to a distance from an originating point, the most accurate term to use is radius. There's no reason to explain it in less accurate terms.

And back to the topic, if You switch the Dire Shielding from allies to party, consider increasing its range slightly.

So if a BW took 4300 damage in 3 seconds how much damage did they do in 3 seconds? 21,000? Maybe more depending on your procs.

I was surprised that dire shielding was AoE based and not group based. But it seems to be doing its job. It punishes people who do lots of attacks and makes them think twice about doing it.

Potentially hitting 24 people with bane shield does seem over the top, but then all AoE that can hit 24 people seems over the top.
