Stealth mechanic adjustment

Hello fellow ROR players, I wish to keep this simple and short, after playing both WE and WH for some time and I feel that their stealth mechanic is a bit underwhelming. While I do not think a perm stealth is appropriate, I do think that the existing one should be improved to allow a more fluid gameplay that reflects its class identity;

Proposal

Stealth ability ( WH/WE lv 10 ability) reworked:
  • 2second cast time remains is interrupted upon receiving damage
  • Duration extended to 1min max
  • Cooldown = Half the time spent in stealth with a minimum cooldown of 5 seconds
  • +10% movement speed while stealthed

Thoughts and feedback are appreciated

Something isn't right here. I take you mean 10% penalty but I am against this as WH/WE won't be able to chase anyone in such a case.

sorry, It was meant to be +10% movement speed gained, ie your 10% faster then normal when stealthed. Edited original post

care to explain why its obvious that they don't need that? I mean im no top we/wh player but after your stealth Is gone you got a elixir for escape for 2 seconds and that's about it. Not to mention in forts, by the time you enter in and try to go anywhere near oil your timers up.

Anyways put some explanation to your opinions would be good :)

It's perfect as is. Learn how to hide in the enviroment without using the ability.

I personally think all stealth needs would be the cooldown to 15s instead of 30s especially in an SC. I understand the game is different so it shouldnt have stealth mechanic like other games, but man I often look down at that cd and see 5-10s left and it can get me screwed sometimes lol

But considering how old this game is, I'm sure the devs would have changed it if they wanted to. Probably beating a dead horse at this point.

Proposal

- Stealth ability ( WH/WE lv 10 ability) reworked:
- stealth result to get instant moral 4
- as long as you are in stealth you get choppa berserker rage without any debuff.
- instant cast for stealth and no cooldown effect
- stealth can't be interupted by TANK taunt.
- +400% add damage on open starter spell.
- +20% renown point when you kill after a stealth

and
- stealth allow you to have +100% parry, dodge and disrupt.

and i think that's it. it seems legit isn't it ?

Likely got dumpstered so now we/wh is broken and any proposal to increase QoL is buffing an already broken OP class....lol
