Ban people who throw the zone

People are openly throwing the zone, stating in T4 to lose the zone so they can city/fort, this is ruining the game for people who want to play it the way its meant to be played, people are starting WBs and sitting in the top of forts, or just dying on purpose filling up fort spots so it cant be defended, this is getting ridiculous.

It was pointed over million times, that medalions required for BIS gear should to be dropping for entire RvR content, otherwise part of playerbase will ignore given content and try force others to rush into more rewarding part of RvR. Thus ruining gameplay experience for others.

Not players are to blame, but rewarding system. It was pointed when forts were end content and same happened when cities were released. Simple carrot could fix that.

Edit: Other option could be making City Sieges prime time events happening twice a day - once EU prime (e.g. 20:00 CET), once NA prime.

    FIXED for you

Blame the player not the system

WAR is a player driven game. It does not matter what the system is, players will always gravitate to the easiest way to get geared up. Max reward for minimal effort. It is the human condition.

So blaming the system is kind of pointless, not to mention childish.

If people have to choose between 1 royal crest from fort defense, and a load more from city, it's obvious what they will pick. Not to mention that there is no incentive for people to defend zones and forts (except the 1 tiny crest) if they want sovereign gear. It's pretty clear a system issue, no?

Ever thought that some ppl want to play city siege during their playtime and not hold a stalemate for hours, then log off, while others logging in end up losing the zone and get the city fight?
    Dying is no option.

As faceshaper said make a good proposal and blame the system, not the players.

Expecting players to not optimize their playtime is foolish and everyone that has ever had ANYTHING to do with game developing knows this perfectly well.

Players will minmax the fun out of a game if it gets them closer to their goal, as the satisfaction of actually reaching the goal is much greater than the journey to get there for the vast majority. This has been, and still is, the case for all MMOs. Especially for MMOs with a strong focus on character progression such as Classic WoW or WAR and RoR.

Everybody knew this was going to happen because it has happened countless times in countless MMOs. It's up to the developer to develop a system that prevents this.

I suggest making rr80 players drop Crests to encourage participation in both RvR and Scenarios (which are currently useless for many, in terms of progression). 250 Oppressor to 1 Crest would also be nice to give SCs a purpose to players that already have their Scenario Weapon.
They done stole my character's names. Can't have **** in RoR.

And why should I def a fort for 1 royal crest when I could get like 10 royals crest in city def ?
This system involve ppl being afk and get back only when city siege pops.
Do you really think rr80 players with full inv will care about forts?
I’m honest cuz I like this game and I believe in this project. Cheers
