As you all know there are some players that prefer playing 1 or 2 characters rather than creating a whole legion of alts.
I believe that a system should be put in place to promoted focusing on 1 character and reward players for that.
My suggestion is to institute epic level rewards. Now since it is a pvp focused game defensive stats matter a lot and many players tend to focus on them. Achieving renown ranks over 80 could further boost some defensive stats initially and then provide players with additional renown points to spend.
For example
Upon getting rr81 +500hp
rr82 +80 initiative
rr83 +200 to all resists
rr84 +400 armor
rr85 +20 renown points
and so on.
all those stats should be stuckable with potions and buffs.
That way players should not have to wait for the next level armor sets and the game would remain interesting for them.

i get your point about keepin' the game interesting, but: +80ini=20rp. to get 20rp for just one lvl seems too much for me. Live servers teached us that even 20 more rp can make huge difference.
imo after rr80 all the rewards should be only about appearence and to not give any real advantage over <rr80 players.
anyway i agree: after 80 there should be some kind of rewards to keep high players "attention".

the devs said that post 80 rr levels are going to be the requiremnt for cosmetic rewards form vendors when implemented

These suggestions seem a bit OP from a balance perspective.
Imo, the best way to keep 80+ RR interesting is keep up the good work they are doing on delivering new content.
However, cosmetic rewards will be a nice bonus.

No to adding more stats or points for carrier or renown mysteries.
Instead devs should make some unique pvp related stuff that only rr+80 can go. Something that only benefit for the players will be exclussive joy of playing.

Granting such drastic increases in stats as you propose, will result in the same as when the game had rr100 running around on live killing lowbies.

It baffles me how anyone can, even for a second, consider these good suggestions. Just how bad do you have to be that you feel rr80 and maxed out gear is not already such a huge advantage over the vast majority of players you meet that you should get more?
