Name your favourite Squig!

Like title says, I wonder if it would be possible to name your squigs when playing as squig herder, perharps make the named squig the only version which pops out when summoned (in other words: only one color per squig if named). You could have 4 different pets that way!

Perharps this could be ability like "Summon your favoured Squig" or perharps somekind of item could make the pet to remain named?

Perharps not the most important thing to do in game right now, but something to be done in future perharps?
