Hey, I got an idea about xrealming.


The idea is to have a symbol (like a buff) on the character that says that the player has switch realm recently.
Thats it. And since its part if RoR why not be open and honest about it. Wouldnt hurt anyways since its ok.

I brought it up in ingame chat. Most ppl didnt think it would accomplish much but I beg the difference.
The statements on chat was that: "Ppl will make 2 accounts", "ppl will do it anyways", "it will not solve the xrealming issues", all true I dont deny it.
But about the 2 accounts thing. 1st of; since its ok to xrealm why make 2 accounts it doesnt make sense.
2nd I recon the majority of xrealmers doesnt care to make 2 accounts (if its even worht it?).
The buff/symbol is not aimed to "solve" xrealming, its goal is to make xrealming visible.

The benefit to have this buff/symbol is for guilds to know if a gamer are xrealming and doesnt want to have it in their guild.
A player can choose whether to play with that player or not. A player that feels that xrealming is wrong can choose whatshe/he will do.

So to sum up. Its a matter of choice.
-Players can choose to xrealm.
-Players/guilds/allys can choose whether to except xrealming or not.

If it doesnt matter to you, why would you care if you would have a buff/symbol that says you are xrealming, for whatever resason it may be for xrelming, again it doesnt make any sense that you would be against it? If it doesnt bother you then it shoulnd bother you to have the symbol/buff on ur char, right ?

Why would you give a "****" if people -know- you xrealm or not in-game?

If you are being spotted with the xrealm marker and AAO regularly, people will soon figure out who are the fight-seekers (good on ya) and who are the freeloots-seekers (aka leechers ruining the rvr). As a GL I'd actually like to know who is actively xrealming tbh. I don't see the harm and I do see the potential help. Let the players self-police it if they want to *shrug*.
