[SUGGESTION] Allow people purchases of all Armor/Weapon sets with multiple currencies

Heyo,

So after this new content release i got reminded of what I disliked about how gear acquisition is approached in the game currently. If people like the look of a particular set they are forced to play a particular gamemode to obtain it.

We have this new set now tied to PvE, and if memory serves the next set on the list of implementation (Tyrant set) is also a PvE one.

What I would hope the devs would do here is let any weapon or armor set have an option to be purchased with either PvE or RvR currency. This way people can play the actual part of the game they enjoy playing while now having multiple new goals ingame to obtain new and fun "looks" for the transmogrify system. Doing that in how the game currently handles gear would force a RvR person to play tons of PvE they don't want to, and likewise if the smaller PvE crowd likes some of the RvR sets but aren't really keen on that part of the game they are still forced to play it for a long time just to get the "look" they want.

Please consider this, looking at peoples comments in the general chat and other chats it does seem people are generally saddened that the new set is PvE exclusive, and will be similarly so when the Tyrant set rolls out.

Let both RvR and PvE people play what they want to play while still working towards the same goal, more options is always good.

Please consider it.

Difficult one as although I'd like this, we've already got a unified currency now, which was a huge quality of life improvement (imo). Presumably not many people here would bother with pve if it could all be obtained through pvp.

Hi there.

Yes please.
I only play for pvp, never done dungeons, not here for that (just my opinion of course, it's good for ppl who like it).
I wish we can purchase BiS weapons too (like Bloodlord or 2H weapons for tank with Reactionary proc) and overtuned ring like event one.
Just let people play the game they want while progressing a little, have fun.

No, if you can’t be bothered to put in the couple hours, you don’t need the gear. They’re not hard to get. If you want the options of mixing or using the sets then go get them. That simple.

God no.

A player can already go from 1-0 to 40-80 BiS through RvR without ever using an ability. At least it takes some effort and group coordination to obtain PvE gear.

Agree, it's so annoying that BiS weapons are PvE ones. I hoped that devs will understand that doing dungeons like BS is not great experience, but they made it even worse.

only 1% Crit in 1h wpn? i saw welf cloak which was nice looking and completely new, not seen in live either imo=) So gz on that! Are there any new procs in wpns because low crit + same old procs we had always, at least i hoped there would be the return of those procs that were accessible to classes alrdy in wpns like Boost V at least IV in 1h/2h and Taunt proc for tanks.

All cast timers would get 05s cast time reduction for example. Following procs should be accessible to all classes, some in higher wpns,some in t4 epic quest wpns and rr38 influence wpns

Clarity - Any Ability: 10% chance to reduce the cost of the next ability used within 10 seconds to 0 Action Points.
Bracing - On Being Hit: 10% chance to increase Armor by 528 for 10 seconds. Stack with pot.
Reactionary - On Defense: 25% chance to increase Parry, Evade, and Disrupt by 7-10% for 10 seconds.
Guile - On Hit: 10% chance to lower incoming healing on target by 25% for 10 seconds.
Creeping - On Being Hit: 10% chance to reduce attackers movement speed by 40% for 5 seconds.
Boost IV-V - On hit: 10% chance to increase your critical hit rate by 6%/9% and critical dmg by 9%/12%
Dissolve VII - On Hit: 10% chance to lower target's armor by 500-800 for 6 seconds. Physical dmg everyone
Erosion - On Hit: 10% chance to lower all of target's Resistances by 200 for 10 seconds. Swordmaster+all magic dmg dealers.
Pilfer - On Being Hit: 10% chance to steal 130 health from your attacker.
Barrier - On Being Hit: 10% chance to form a protective barrier that will absorb up to 160damage over 5 seconds.
Elusive - On Being Hit: 10% chance to increase movement speed by 20% for 10 seconds.

Bewildering - On hit: 10% chance to increase cast times by 05s for 6 seconds,Works on melee and Ranged attacks. This for engi/magi/rp/zealot.
