you should not talk you are the typical WE that can't 1v1 and need 3v1 to fight

Personally my problem is that by the time i kill it they can just stagger me again and get away. This build allows you to deal decent damage be tanky. WE has the best engagement and disengagement tools already, why they need to be tabky aswell?! Trust me if a def we dont want to die they wont die, they disengage and stealth, (Even in 1vX situations) its stupid. No risk, high reward. Any other class engages they most likely cant disengage. Also trust me you dont deal this much damage on any other regen built melee class. That is why i think they should reduce the base damage of all the dots and witchbrew and increase the str multiplier to even it out. Like this wes would be forced to stack more strength to actually deal decent damage while being more tanky.

After going through all the posts, I honestly can’t tell whether the people defending the WE def spec are arguing in bad faith or just straight-up in denial.
YES, the WE def spec is clearly overtuned. Yes, it has way too much DPS considering the sheer amount of disengage and kiting tools it brings to the table. Playing this class is like riding a bike with training wheels : you’re basically guaranteed not to fall.
No, people playing WE def aren’t “true” solo roamers. They’re just taking advantage of a flaw , intended or not , in the way the devs designed or balanced the class.
Seriously, how can anyone not see that this class is the very definition of overloaded? If there are this many threads popping up about it, maybe , just maybe , there’s some truth behind the complaints.
As for the rest, it feels like some players simply don’t want their little advantages touched. Class balance doesn’t matter to them as long as they can keep pretending they’re better than they actually are.
Respect to the real solo roamers who actually take risks

Zero risk?
apparently u dont play stealth classes, as long the is server is all around blobbing and smallscale is nearly Dead compared to Former times u will always Roaming with high risk, additionally with stealth nerfed u have really problems to pull back from fight, if Blob arrives ... but yeah even imo witchbrew WElf is overpowered, and i have WH+WE and checked all specs

Imagine the risk for everyone without stealth, without the ability to choose to engage or not, without the escape abilities. It's not zero risk agreed, but a hell of a lot less than the rest of us.

One might argue that 'nearly dead' might be as a result of issues mentioned in this thread.

But what “risk” exactly? In the right hands, this class is insanely strong ,and I say that as someone who played it for quite a while, just like I’ve played hybrid specs such as DPS Shaman or DPS Zealot.
The whole solo roaming scene is clearly suffering because of classes that have way too many tools, pushing players toward the path of least resistance. For years we’ve been told that RoR isn’t a solo game, yet paradoxically we’re given a whole roster of classes that excel at it , to the detriment of many others.
Right now, solo play has become painfully dull, even borderline toxic for those looking for fair and interesting fights, because it’s always the same classes you run into in 1v1 situations. I have nothing against people choosing the easy way, but I do take issue with defending this kind of gameplay when RoR used to offer far more variety a few years back.
Everyone looks out for their own little advantage without caring that the solo roaming dimension is being gutted, all just to maintain the illusion of being “good.”
It’s a shame that a game which once offered such a wide range of combat possibilities has slipped to this level of mediocrity and the WE def spec is the perfect embodiment of that decline.

The RR88 WE can't even 1v1 a 2H Kotbs with medium parry and low regen.

With that kind of Kotbs offensive build, a real Witch Elf like Solater would destroy me without any problem.

STOP saying Witch Elves are easy to beat because YOU are easy to beat.

The real gangsters WEs out there are almost IMPOSSIBLE to kill in a fair fight without having to stack a lot of defenses against them.

And I know what i'm talking about, i did tons of duels against most competitive WEs outside, and i tested as many different spec and builds, from pure glass canon crit 2hander to deep regen high def SnB. Full BIS With many variants.

Yes WE class is too strong considering the strong tool kit it have (high utility, control and mobility). I'm not saying WEs need big nerf, but there need some adjustements for sure, period.
