Re: WElf Nerf
What annoys me most is this “zero risk, high reward” talk. When you go into the Lakes solo, the risk is already high, and the longer it takes to kill someone, the higher the chance you’ll get picked off. And as nat3s has pointed out multiple times, there are plenty of classes that, when built properly, have absolutely no issues dealing with a defensive Welf. People are creating a problem here that doesn’t actually exist.

Re: WElf Nerf
Yeah with very high parry for exmaple if you are good in movement you can counter it but in that case beavuse her armor toughness amd regen and utilities she will just stagger run absorb potion stealth. This is why this is a zero risk high reward gameplay. This is why its unfair and unbalaced. This is why its coz a lot of fustration over the year.Skoll888 wrote: Wed Mar 04, 2026 8:41 am What annoys me most is this “zero risk, high reward” talk. Nothing wrong with zero risk but the reward should be also even if not zero very low or atleast low not high.

I'm reading the point you keep repeating, but disagree. Big difference. The problem isn't understanding you, it's that I personally think you're wrong.
Repeating yourself isn't going to help there, but presenting evidence rather than opinion might. Dummy logs from a def WE, killboard engagements, anything to support your suggestion that def WE does high damage - what you'll find is, it simply doesn't as that's not what makes it powerful in the right hands.

There is no damage or burst in a full defensive WE build.nat3s wrote: Wed Mar 04, 2026 12:22 pm

I’m back after a 3-year absence and have been reading the forums about Solater and similar players. We joined a scenario together, and to be honest, I was expecting a bit more from the player you guys claim is such a strong defensive WE. The guy didn’t even bother switching gear. I mean, come on.
There are heals, guard, and yet defensive WEs still go full berserk defense? There is no burst or real DPS in that kind of build, believe me.
It’s not only Solater either. I’ve seen many def WEs who don’t bother switching to DPS gear in scenarios. Are you guys permanently stuck with that type of build or what? they enter scenarios with all those regen rings and chest
Many of you are very high renown players. I believe you all have a second set of Sovereign or something similar with STR/WS talismans on it.

Its smaller compared to a full glass cannon dps, but if we take into account that def welf didnt invest to offense at all and put everything on def is very high.Krima wrote: Wed Mar 04, 2026 12:43 pmThere is no damage or burst in a full defensive WE build.nat3s wrote: Wed Mar 04, 2026 12:22 pm

This is why everbody get fustrated, they are unfair unbalanced.
Zero risk, high reward.
Nobody get fustrated about a glass cannon welf they come and can kill a lowbie in almost one kd. But they put everything on offense.

Re: WElf Nerf
Nerf base damage of all corp dots and witchbrew and increase the str multiplier on them and problem would be solved. If a we wants to be unkillable let them be, they dont have burst but they still do too much consistent damage without any offensive stat investment. Other melee dps could not do this.
Re: WElf Nerf
Witch hunter dont get 600 shields every 3s and 2 gap closers and a suite of debuffs. Also it is exceptionally hard for most ppl to kill def welf. You are playing an op spec challenge urselfSkoll888 wrote: Wed Mar 04, 2026 8:41 am What annoys me most is this “zero risk, high reward” talk.
