Supporting this, +1.

Also, i agree that the timer should be significantly longer than 1h, 3-4h sounds about right.

P.S: It may be worth to discuss if the penalties should exclude LOTD resources tho. I personally didnt make up my mind on this tbh, it sorta makes sense to penalize resources gain as well yet, at the same time, is there any significant correlation between resources farming & xrealming? If i were asked to make up my mind right here & right now tho I'd say "blanket-ban every element of gain for xrealmers"

I first suggested temporary lockouts back in Feb or march 2016, not the hard faction lockout like live , but between 1 hours, and a 2 hour lock out. This was meet with dislike, and many claiming there was no xrealm, it was just time zones and people logging on, and off, not actual xrealming.

Then a couple years later they added a lockout, but certain guilds would log on one faction, push to fort, then swap to farm the same people they helped get to fort on, with the other faction, so they had to add a lockout before fort to prevent what supposedly, wasn`t happening.

Cities don`t really matter, I haven`t bothered to do a city since 2019 ish, no need, and did them a lot on live, also, cities are scheduled here roughly every 3 days. The only thing that matters is city is determined by whoever locks the most pairings, winning a fort doesn`t count unless you lock the pairing, which gives better rewards unless it`s been changed.

As it is, if we just look at the last 4 months, from Aug 8 to Dec 10, order has invaded IC for 36 times, vs dest has invaded Altdorf 7 times, balance is off pretty bad, if people were actually xrealming to try and balance the sides, it wouldn`t be that lopsided. All one has to do, is go to killboard, select Scenarios, scroll down to city, and see how many days a month, there is a city siege, and what city, don't count instances, as days will have several showing for same date, just count the actual city.

City doesn`t matter, however whoever is zerging zones to lock pairings, and progress the campaign, does as one side gets way more renown, gear, on a lock, and a pairing lock with winning the fort, for that pairing, then chasing kills, with AAO, and a loser bag roll.

I don`t bother playing my order toons in several years, a few of them hit 80 back in 2019, 2020, came back after 2-year break, and it`s still mostly the same, so I have been playing dest to try help.

I'm up for just removing the lockout

I doubt blob problem comes from xrealmer, even so this idea won't help much ;
Either stay in a blob for free crest/rr or go get farmed for nothing...
It's more dissuading for anyone willing to switch for the losing side
As for bad xrealmer, they can still create another account, will penalize only those who didn't make one

It doesn't matter much for me since I mostly play Sc and Solo
Lockout was just really annoying for playing t1 and sometimes for doing events
