1 - magus, herders, shamans, AMs, engy etc, which have similar or even better escape tools as SW, ALSO DIDN'T HAVE ANY SELF SUSTAIN

2 -if self damaging classes with no ranged abilities like choppa or slayer DIDN'T HAVE LIFE TAPS AND OTHER REGEN AND SELF SUSTAIN STUFF.
Magus is overpowered/broken we all know that, AM/SHaman are per design problematic since they are healer classes with high damage enough ( zealot/runepriests) and still full range attack.

These are not good models to go by, SW ( SH ranged feels squishy). Let SW/SH remain squishy arches with a lot of mobility, i.e give them a new ability to break snare/roots once a minute to further improve their kiting tool-box.

What SW does need however, is sustain and durability in their Assault spec(real spec , not stance dance in archer mode). IN fact ASW is the spec that need the most improvement and attention in upcoming dps class patches, it just lacks a purpose and direction and feels pointless after all the damage the years of patching did to ASW.
