DPS DoK had a lot of amazing stuff, it had curse of khaine to heal debuff on crit, devour essence and fell sacrifice to keep it applied on people, it had a 15 sec AOE detaunt tactic, it had a strong spammable AOE heal for all allies close to def target. It had crippling drawbacks of no other good utility or even having charge, but that stuff was so good it was a very competitive class in SCs and orvr and was a lot of fun to manage.
Now though, it lose it's on crit healdebuff, the AOE tactic that made it really tanky, the super good spirit damage AOE that healed, and the ability to AOE heal with devour essence, and, almost as importantly, we got a shield spec added that ruins a lot of the gear for DPS DoK.
DPS DoK had its OP stuff removed while other melee DPS kept theirs.
At this point in time, unless you are playing ranked(And DPS DoK just sees play there because the mura is so good and it operates off burst windows, which healing can counter), a DPS DoK is just better off replaced with a different DPS. No charge, no pull, squishy, horrible AOE damage, no spammable AOE heal, inferior gear. It's been absolutely gutted.
In SCs or rvr, other melee DPS are now just a lot better, and I'd hope you'd change it back to how it was and fix the gear issue
I think there are 2 ways to go about this:
1) Just revert the class to what it was. Simple, it was awesome, let it be awesome again
2) Give it unique and awesome things again if you are deadset on keeping curse of khaine out of the game and letting order maintain a healing advantage with it's better knight auras, WP health buff, and easy access to outgoing healdebuff on 2h IB vrs 2h BG. Devour essence as it was was awesome, having the Point Blank AOE heal returned would be nice too.
My last big point is: The Gear. DoKs have a really bad selection for DPS gear as the shield hogs the sov set and several others. If you want a shield spec, fine, just give DoKs +1 sets of gear vrs other classes to compensate, give us a Sov set that is a copy of the Muras or the WEs IMO. Other healers have more DPS gear to choose from then DoKs because of the sheild spec taking so much, and some of the sets we're left with just suck. DPS DoKs should always have the option to just choose some regular str DPS gear
Having the new DPS set waste a bonus on +SE regen while not giving str is heartbreaking to see.

DPS DoK was just as OP as any other melee DPS, it def wasnt an auto win for destro, it was just good, like all the other melee DPS's are now.

The last healer patch brought some cool changes and few disappointments
Excellent stuff added in dps spec ;
The armor debuff is epic, healdebuff is easier to apply and spamming Essence Lash is really cool in PvE
Wracking Agony boost is fun for catching people who run away in RvR
Soul Shielding as a base spell and the Aoe detaunt are nice add
For the bad part ;
The nerf of Sanguinary Extension (it used to refresh debuff)
Now it does a super slow (while dok already have another spell + an aura) and without the buff does low dps
Some downgrades in dps like Cleave Soul (that ignored armor)
The worst is Drowning in Blood, wich was a cool spell on a long CD, giving a huge burst for a short time,
Now it's 5s CD, no more grants CD reduction and blocks your Soul gain
Using 2 cast for every finishing is boring as hell
Except that new Drowning in Blood mechanic, dps dok is still excellent imo
Mostly lack something to reach Rdps as they can kite you easily
Spec sure is a bit squishy wich seems normal for all the support it can provide

I have to say that old dps dok with spirit dmg high hitting Devour essence Trigging 50% Ae heal debuff with the 50% healdebuff tactic + With Transfer Essence/Sigmars radiance that healed your grp for 75% + fixed amount of hp, when it critted it 800 heal was like 900 to whole grp. Spammable, gave 40Rf so it used Ap is very hard to beat.
But current dps dok is fun, I would have glady settled to 700-800 Armour debuff proc wpn for dok and never thought Dok's or (Wp) would get 1600 armour debuff, not sure if they should but hey : D Still same spec RoR.builders - Disciple of Khaine but if you have guard + heal you can do nice single target dmg espesially with 25% AA dmg blorc buff, and Interrupt can be very powerful + its super fun to get Killing blow with Wracking agony : D Not sure the speed buff is warranted but i do like it alot D

On my opinion, at this moment dps Dok is somewhat better than dps WP, if compare the potential of dps damage. It means dps Dok now already more interesting to play than dps WP.
Consume Essence with Transferred Focus tactic become undefendable, against WHs it is too strong no cd ability with self healing.
