Marauder best dps solo/wb.
Choppa have a good sustain but not compared whit maras.

Mara is best if consdering 6man scale or warbands. They have even a functional 1v1 spec, though not as good for 1v1 as their mirror, but quite flexible class for any setting.
WE has 1v1 option and does ok if very well guarded and healed in 6man, but no spot in warbands.
Choppa mostly gives renown in 1v1, is ok in 6mans and below mediocre in warbands.

Good for solo;
WE + Mara
Good for 6man;
all when properly supported
Good for warband;
Mara best, Choppa mediocre (just above WE as 2nd worst DPS pick), WE worst (no valid AoE spec)

For order the best class to 1v1 White lions, they have a pounce and pull mechanic, can kill most squishes in under 3 seconds, can escape from most classes if they think they can't win, have champions challenge morale, making them super useful in 6man but are utterly useless in warbands.
If you like to stealth and be a solo ninja its witch hunter and for destro its witch elf but again these are totally undesired in warbands.
Mara is good multi purpose because they have effective solo and warband potential, have a pull like the the white lion so makes them useful for 6man.
On destro Choppa is great damage potential, possibly the most damage a melee dps can have for a warband but they are extremely hard to keep alive without a tank actively guarding them and healers, not sure of there 6man potentiality, they also have a pull but its not really that good now. Order has slayer, same rules.
You can also play a shadow warrior, they have rdps but their mdps is much higher in offensive if played and built correctly but i'm not very knowledgeable on them, i think their warband use is mostly for support applying debuffs.
If you enjoy warbands more so than 6mans or solo roaming melee squig herder is really fun, they have a pounce like white lion, can stack obscene amounts of armour from their squig armor and TA tactic, self punt, aoe snare, aoe cooldown increase, a charge that knocks folk away and very powerful m4 but don't expect a lot of love when it comes to a 6man as they don't have enough single dps damage capability. I have also had some success in 1v1 vs the core solo roamers on it.
