Return of Reckoning

Hi as a beginner Im lookng for a DPS range classe like SW or BW. I personnaly prefer the SW full long range bow. But every one told me that BW Aoe dmg are way more better than the dmg of a SW. I pefer to Pvp Scenario; Ty for ur advices

Bw have better aoe and better single target, you would also have a place in endgame warband.

I looked at sw and literally every sw that spoke said dont even bother.

According to rumors SW may be buffed / reworked soon.
I'd say play whatever is more fun to you. aSW is clearly better for SCs, but it's melee.

SW is probably the worst class to play in a warband among all 24 classes, go bright wizard its great

Highest SW 1738 rating with 17-5, highest BW (Zarbix btw) - 1566 with 13-10. Tell me more.

Safe to assume that 1738 SW is ASW.

OP specifically stated he wanted a ranged class. If he likes the idea of ASW and wouldnt mind playing ASW every now and then along with RSW then I think SW should be his choice.

But from "ranged dps" standpoint, I think bw would be better.

But to OP, if Rdps is your thing, imo try engi, bw, and sw. I played 5 classes to 20+ and I'm still deciding which I like. Take your time and find what calls to you.

For rdps as order play bw or engie. Only play sw if your a masochist as destro will target you first no matter what. (destro fighting a tank and healer in melee and have both under 20% health but see a sw 65 ft away at full health, immediately swap to sw to chase it down too kill it even if it means being kited to death. ) [personal experience]
