great stuff

the discussion gets a bit technical for the artists, but i'd love to see or do a normal map sculpted on these low poly models

i dont remember how that other thread with normal maps for textures ended
can the engine digest em?

Was this utility ever released?

I'd love to check out the character models. I've already extracted the .geom files using EasyMYP, but I can't quite work out how to extract the contents.

nice, grabin' a .obj, opening it in zbrush and dividing, then exporting normal map to that low poly model would prolly make it look smooth as hell

bet some nice reterturing could be done with substance painter too

only got mild modeling skills atm, was a hobby for the last 3 years, developped a portfolio good enough to get in an intensive school program that starts mid august in montreal and till then, im working my ass off to have enough money to live decently while its ongoing

i like RoR and all, but i'm afraid i dont have the free time to devote to the project atm :(

I am currently working on a small utility for extracting data from MYP archives, which also allows to view contents of selected file types (geom included). Some screenshots to give you an idea:

I plan to release it eventually, maybe even sometime soon(-ish), just need to stop playing WAR for a couple of days and finish some stuff...

all this stuff...
Its gonna be great! Awesome things can be done with it ^^
The server Staff should consider to make a team only for modelling/texturing/animating!
Looks like we have a lot of talented people here :)
