mah , starting points imo are

healers core willpower reserve --> too high
dodge/disrut being 360 degree vs parry 180 degree(?) --->dodge/disrup avarage > parry

-healer problem is linked to int; we need to increase intelligence cap ignore into like 85-90% (and not striketrought in general)
-initiative/willp should give half def contribution compared to wep skill cuz they are 360 degree.

both solutions or at least the second one should make the whole thing better.

It seems that it shouldn't be a nerf to willpower in general just because it has a secondary effect. Why hit healing output because magical input isn't striking.

It seems better to adjust the effect Willpower has to Disrupt and to place in quicker diminishing returns to disrupt on the willpower stat.

That way they don't have to adjust more than one formula.

Healers who want to survive, usually don't stack willpower so their disrupt stems from the renown abilities and cheap items. Looking at that ability is a bit weirding out: you get two defensive options for the cost of one. Why not sum up block and parry, too?
There are green jewelries with 2% disrupt (as far I remember) so you could stack 8% disrupt as a healer.

Also, most mdps got weapon skill to counter armor while magic based rdps don't have this. Mdps also have an armor debuff like magic dps usually have a resi debuff. There's a bit of an imbalance there.



Idea: either introduce a skillable strike-through renown ability or split dodge disrupt ability into two separate ones so people have to decide either to go for dodge or disrupt.

why nerf tank also, problem are arising post stats fix patch, which mean willpower have the problem not all the rest of the disrupt value altough it is generally increased overall btu that was in fact the point of make dodge/disruot work on dots

Coming form a healer and caster:

Minimum needed:

1. If it is not already so, INT strikethrough should 1:1 counter WP disrupt.

2. Add strike through renown ability to directly counter disrupt renown ability.


Not sure if a good idea but:

3. Add a hard cap to the amount of disrupt you can have . For all abilities, buffs, stats, etc. Like the highest disrupt you can reach is X% regardless of abilities.



Problem is that there is no REAL counter play/ability to high disrupt available.

Rework. The new avoidance and the mandatory 18% disrupt renown and very few options to get past it except hard capping Intel leave very little option but to go full glass cannon. The mechanic enforces speccing. As usual its a Mythic bandaid fix of bringing in the new renown abilities with large speccable avoidance to counter the stupid stat level on their gear. You needed 18% disrupt just to counter the power creep on Mythics intel stat.

I really havent had the stamina to play my main since the change due to me not playing it as a pure dd. I used to use the mechanic to try to weave, even though playing the class the right way gimps it. Without putting everything into damage you come up against the wall of disrupts.

Separate avoidance and damage or put a limit on what stats do. For instance higher than 900 on intel is the limit to strikethrough but reduce avoidance accordingly.

Its particularly hard on dots having to go through avoidance a second time. The same avoidance check on hit as dd and then a second check on tick. I see the thinking behind it. So you can react once a dot is on and that many dots contain a debuff element that needs to be checked but if dot damage goes through two checks they should be disrupted at a lower avoidance than dd with its single damage check.

Ideally disrupt would be tied to it's own stat, like dodge is to initiative. But seeing as this would require a massive revamp of all items, renown and skills, I suggest moving it from willpower to initiative. Might be a ridiculous idea, but imo it would make sense in a lot of ways.

more points invested into a tree, the higher your disrupt strikethrough for abilities within said tree xD

wp disrupt just needs to be toned down imho so that it's not useless but not a low investment hard counter to dot classes.
