New Player Class advice?

Hi All,

I'm looking to play RoR for the first time. I actually played the live version when it first came out for a few months, but was unable to stick with it at that time.

I live in NA so I'm a bit worried about latency and was looking at some other player's advice, and most people suggested playing a ranged class due to this.

I want to play as either a Dwarf or Greenskin. I like to roam around and explore solo, but I also want to be a viable teammate in PvP. I'm thinking a SH or Shaman. Which would be a better pick?

If you enjoy playing solo then WH/WE/AM/Shaman is pretty much always the answer - you'll quickly figure out why

Play a SH... the 4 mentioned above might be best S+ tier for solo roaming, but unless you are rr 90 in full sov and have friends you really wont get invited to WB/6man as a dps (WE you will for small man, AM/Sham you will be forced to heal). Play SH if you want to play a ranged solo class who can also play team fights.

i will ask in this post cause i have similar question. I do some clearance on my acc. I want to have 1 destro and 1 order char instead of tons of toons.

Can U help me decide for what pair should i go? Perect choice is the class which have good or viable builds for both solo roaming and grp play.

Play sham, get taken in grps and paired with choppa to spam fodg, solo go the toughness stacking kiting build which is pretty much unbeatable 1v1. Sh both rsh and msh is decent solo but ranged much better in 6 man melee in wb.

For dwarf , solo slayer is meh, ib is a little better but you will get kited out and still lose to geared WE.
Don’t play engi lmao.

Because BG is too good and for buttons use sequencor addon 1.05

BG 2h is nothing more than a caster killer, if it can even do that. At best in WB its a slow bot with some D-buff. BG tank needs a high skill cap to get the most out of it. You should know that. Seq isnt going to help anyone understand or play BG correctly.
