The only thing that discouraged me to level an assault SW was the casttime of shadowstep.

The moment you decide to go all in sneaky like a true ninja... and then you're casting for 2 ass long seconds... how frustrating!

Well you're supposed to aoe detaunt the people you're not hitting like casters when in melee train or detaunting melees when breaking through?

Don't forget armor debuffs...

With ~ -1800 from skills (M1, Skills) you're already at 5100

-40% you're at 3100 armor left from 6900.

Volgo made a good post about that in an armor related thread, too lazy to search for atm.

That's why pounces normally have speed buffs included. "Working as intented" (i don't know if WL has speedbuff or not in their actual version) Also works for changing your running direction when the enemy WL pounces. It feels like pounce with speedbuff only work on maxrange without any spe...

RoR 2019 consists of whine, more whine and lots of AMs.

It clearly states:

"Abilities which require a mutation"

Flail is the questioned ability.
Flail doesn't require a mutation.

Flail doesn't meet the requirement for piercing bite so no effect by this tactic.

Well technically the skill itself doesn't require a mutation.

The additional effect does require a mutation.

So piercing bite doesn't affect flail in any way based on it's description.
