So, I just logged on and my Twitch drop event quest is no longer there. I was on the group duel stage of the one that started with speaking to Gary. I have no item in my quest item tab or anything. Just wondering if this happened to anyone else.

Is the group duel quest only for 6v6 in the arena or does 2v2, 3v3 etc work too? Also can it be completed with 2 of the same realm or is it only order group vs destro group?

That's the risk you take when queueing for SCs. As Ysaran said already, the devs tried making it more balanced through the queue system but SCs popped far less with that system, hence the revert.
