The problem with deleting Lotd items is that they balanced out the game. The absorbs balanced out the high burst dps. Taking them out means you now have to nerf the WE, the Sham and AM, the Slayer, the Sorc, the BW to some extent and even the SH (pets) .... Or, you can leave absorb items in and game...
