GW were trying to push the alliances at the time due to falling sales, to get the few customers to collect more armies. It does seem odd that Mythic would ditch their successful daoc formula for a step backwards. It wouldnt surprise me if GW wanted the alliance of order and chaos (later came undead)...

Theres alot of questing in the game but its the open world realm vs realm thats the real jewel of this game. Id suggest jumping into one of the open warbands and giving it a try even if it doesnt sound your cup of tea. You might be suprised.

Dok/WP have had more time spent on them than all the other classes combined. Time to move on they were already one of the most overperforming classes integral to any party. They suffer from D&D tank wizard syndrome they cant be balanced.
