What do you mean bring them back? Those two abilities are already in the game.

Plus, this effect exists on multiple items, not just shields. Essentially OP is asking for a VERY strong proc with no drawbacks (hint, it used to work like OP is asking for but was nerfed because it was stupidly strong).

No. Those were reverted back to the original defensive values in Oct 2018. The "Extra Calculations" page of my Google Sheet link in my signature includes a calculator for determining avoidance from defensive attributes (such as Weapon Skill).

I use 1.07 and it works fine for me, which is why I asked. I know for a fact that WT will not work for classes that don't have heals (e.g. the lua is set to check your class), and the addon will return the error "unknown command" when it is a non-healer class.

You will definitely want to check out the Grace spec for Warrior Priest if the front-line battle healer is what you are looking for.
