Re: Motivating defenders to fight against the odds (Keep sieges, Forts, Cities)

So the entire game reward system is about gear acquisition for power (much like live). You get that gear by flipping zones to city. Easiest way to flip zones is by stacking population. Any counter mechanic that gets in the way of flipping defeats the purpose of the reward system. In short, if you wa...

Re: Is guard too powerful?

So guard is only "too powerful" in the context of a disciplined and skilled group against an undisciplined one. Between skilled groups it becomes a chess (or at least checkers) match of who can target switch, debuff and separate until someone makes a mistake. As noted though, the balance o...

Re: Y’all need to buff 2H chosen

I'm trying to reconcile all these complaints I've been reading with what I've seen/experienced with my own Chosen compared to my other tanks. Exactly what is a (geared) 2h Chosen missing? It is very tough, has 10s moon punt if wanted, three auras to play with which don't require you do do anything t...

Re: cities issue

All you can really do right now is to do what the Dwarves do, keep a notebook of the people who do this and hold a grudge. And then pay it back if you can. Personally I wouldn't be against a more severe punishment for intentionally leaving a City instance, as doing so hurts others more than yoursel...

Re: Some Ranked Statistics

Lies, damned lies and statistics. :P

But, seriously, why did you combine positive MMR with just a single victory? Seems like a weird split as it conflates reasonable success (positive MMR) with any success (one victory) with participation (tried it at all win or lose).

Re: 2H tank damage…

Take everything sub-40 with a grain of salt.

I mean, you will be able to do very good damage (for a tank) once you are fully geared out at RR 75+ but that is a long haul so enjoy your moment.

Re: Series of suggestions, and dissapointed with 22/7/2021 patch balances. Tank SnB bubble boost suggestion.

In "low pressure" damage environments healers can and often do have top protection due to detaunt and shields. I also believe cleanses count as protection for heals too. Also worth noting that SMs can sometimes outperform (mediocre) heals in healing in these "low pressure" enviro...

Re: Dragon's Talon

I’d just like to know why this talent is ok (stacks with guard/challenge) but chosen had to lose crippling strikes. They have roughly the same effectiveness. Well if you guys want to discuss this in the context of making the SM as effective a tank as a Chosen then I'm totally down for that conversa...

Re: Dragon's Talon

Dear developers, if you made Vigilance (Kotbs) and Oppression (Chosen) abilities only usable for snb tanks in this way SM has Dragon's Talon ability (no cooldown) that reduce damage of target to 80% so it's almost 20% permanent damage reduction. This ability also from middle path as Vigilance and O...

Re: Dragon's Talon

If the OP hates it now, must have really hated it when it was more useful and stacked with itself. He obviously has a strong case of the "grass is greener" syndrome with his new SM toy. Also, @Fenris, I too would like to see some longer CDs/ability durations in the SM arsenal to encourage ...
