Return of Reckoning

I am leveling a zelot at the moment, never played on at live.

One question: What is with tactic manipulation. The effect sound funny. It seems there are some better tactics, but is it totally useless?
Bonus question: has this taktic a max-range?

Warhammer Age of Reckoning and Return of Reckoning both allowed addons like nerf buttons.

Difference:
I think the developers of WAR don´t care alot about the game. I don´t know why developers of RoR allow addons of this kind.

If I want a fair and competitive game, I would report a bug, when I found one. To get a cosmetic reward would be only an extra benefit.
