As currently implemented, that's not true. A 40/40 char has to request the name change, but the 'token' can be used to change the name of _any_ character on the account.

Re: Patch Notes 01/02/2020
No offense, but I'm not a huge fan of the new armory name entry, as wildcard searches have been broken - the link in my signature no longer works

Re: ClosetGoblin-like addon for spec change
+1 on this. Being able to quickly switch between Single-Target and AoE specs for my sorc would be nice. Or switching my tank between SnB and 2H. Without having to remember the details if it's been awhile.

Re: MAGUS : ChangeSpec non-pug warband viability
IMO AoE Magus is like any AoE: solo you can apply some pressure, but if you want to reliably rack up kills you need 3+ AoE-spec'd players to bomb with. When sieging, they're nice for helping keep order off the walls/oil/ram. If you get frustrated, you can always try out snipe-spec - though again, so...

Re: Throwing Forts
My 2 cents on cities is: * ONLY winning as attackers should get bags. All other cases (Losing on either side as well as winning as defenders) should get medals/crests only. Rationale: This rewards attackers a bit more than defenders, thus discouraging throwing zones. It also slows down the gear grin...

Re: City sieges and Campaign Mechanic
If I remember rightly and those with better memories can chirp in here, on the original 2008 mechanic you only had a certain amount of time to take a T4 zone, hence the guild Friday night co-ordination calls. Was it 2 hours? Anyway not the never ending campaign we have at the moment until someone a...

Re: Guard Change
I think what catches most people is removing Guard doesn’t require a GCD and can be done at any time while applying Guard requires a GCD which can mess up when pressing too many buttons together or doing it too quickly so when you try to apply Guard, you might still be locked out inside the 1.1-1.5...

Re: 3rd shift
Server population is approximately a sawtooth wave with peaks around 1900-2100 UTC and troughs around 0600-0800 UTC. That's... 2-4pm and 1-3am Eastern respectively. So if you're trying to play from 2-7am (0700-1200 UTC), you're trying to play at literally the lowest population time around. You might...

Re: Guard Change
> If my arguments are wrong, feel free to counter them. Your arguments are wrong. Counter: From an initial non-ability-using state, it takes a single ability invocation to turn on guard. Likewise with stances, etc. To switch guard from one target to another takes two invocations - guard off, guard o...
