Re: City Winner History?

The analysis over the time of day is inconclusive as city sieges across all times of day (apparently) always result in a 60/40 order loss if the numbers are to be believed. If you're implying that I'm falsifying numbers, it's not appreciated. I didn't gather these numbers, but they pass muster on m...

Re: City Winner History?

The lopsided wins are Thursdays, Fridays, Sunday and a Monday, averaging 17 instances with a range of 13-22. The time period from the Morale Change/SW buff until about 29 June is a real golden age for the city instance. 13 destro wins, 10 order wins and 4 ties! Before and after that it's utterly des...

Re: City Winner History?

Times weren't being tracked until 8 July but since then there's been 5 lopsided destro wins of 70% or more. These times (in UTC which is EST+4) were:

Noon
Midnight
230p
11p
930a

Tough to see any trend there.

Re: City Winner History?

You guys are having a completely different conversation about theorycrafting classes (one that is dissolving into personal attacks) in a thread about cities.

Please take it elsewhere. We were having a productive conversation before that.

Re: City Winner History?

In fact, if we look at the number of instances and the percentage of victories, we will see that when the number of instances is maximum (population peak hours), then the percentage of victories order / destruction is practically equal (with a slight difference). And the largest gap is achieved whe...

Re: City Winner History?

Trolls and destro players with blinders. I am Jack's total lack of surprise so far in this thread. Anyway, for those of you with thoughtful points: I'd be curious to see if we could zoom in and see how many order wins there were after the Shadow Warrior buffs that lasted for all of a week or whateve...

GrandmaGary wrote: Tue Jul 21, 2020 1:12 am How do cities end in a tie? How are rewards distributed?
They tie when both realms win the same number of instances. I don't know of any reward/effect to a realm for winning/losing the siege.

Re: City Winner History?

https://i.imgur.com/twhBpDX.png It works out to Destro winning 60% of all city instances since 16 April this year, and 58% since the morale nerf (which I doubt is statistically significant). Numerically speaking, this is why Destro ends up winning 80% of cities. How they win 60% of city instances i...

Re: City Winner History?

Sweet Sigmar, those numbers are devastating.... I just... I have no response to that. wtf game are we even playing here? edit: Ok I've had a few minutes to process this and calm down. I'm gonna take my player hat off for a minute and try to demonstrate something: If you were to tell me, "hey th...

City Winner History?

Is there a record or log kept somewhere of the number of order vs. destro wins in City? Maybe sorted by date? I'd be curious to see this.
