Re: Fortress Lords and their mechanics
Just ran my 2nd or 3rd Stonewatch with the new Keg mechanic, as a rr68 sorc. It needs work. Overcoming Lord Room funnels is difficult, but - because of a large main doorway and an opposing postern - possible at the current keep numbers. Overcoming a single-access turn-in-stairs funnel at current num...

Addon Dev resources?
I'm a software dev by trade, but I'm new to WAR/RoR; are there any resources for how to develop addons? Maybe a hello-world addon to look at, and some tips on debugging them? I've looked a bit, but it's difficult to tell what applies, and I can't find any kind of API description at all. Any help app...

Re: Patch Notes 15/12/2019
I'm having the same experience as @sancra (can't log in due to bad file signature).
Okay, fixed for me by (since I'm under linux) running WINE in debug mode.

Re: ICONIC to the devs
>I am not opposed to gold bags or something like that for a very good performance on the losing side. I think that's a good idea. The only question is how you would determine that because the winners should always get a better chance at good rewards. The problem is that in a blowout-type situation: ...

Any chance you can figure out how to wedge population into the fort status? And/or AAO status?

Re: Addon and Nerf Button setup pt 1
I dont care about visual addons, but the gameplay ones. This is clearly a bogus distinction, unless you think that being blind is the same as being sighted. Making it easier to see which enemies are healers, or have debuffs on them, or which friendlies have DoTs on them, or are near death, etc - th...

Re: suggestion about... about...
How about a simpler version where to push up a tier you have to have won all previous tiers? So if T2 is won by order, then a T3 win by Destro would have it go _back_ to T2. This would essentially move the split in the paths from the T4 split zone (DW,TM,Praag) to the T2 zone. Forts would become muc...

Re: Fort perverse incentives

Fort perverse incentives
Last night's fort (Stonewatch) looked good for destro going in but endedup poorly for them. I'm told this is because there are many x-realmers who look at who they think will win and switch sides to the winning side, with some bias toward defence because it's easier to defend than attack. I was puzz...
