Personally, I'd recommend tank for first class.
You have the highest survivability, so you'll be alive longer to learn the ebb and flow of the game. This is especially true as most experienced players will basically ignore tanks and kill them last.
They are relatively simple to play. By that, I ...

Re: Two friends returning
Like it says in the other thread, pretty much any duo is viable. But ofc it all depends on what sort of content you wanna play.
I'd probably advise tank + healer combo personally.
This will mean every scenario you've at least got the basics covered and be a strong asset to the team. You'll also ...

Re: Pet stuck after receiving CC
I get this occasionally on my squig.
It doesnt happen all the time, but often enough. I find that if I hit the stop button, then the recall command will work. If I don't stop or attack first, the recall button doesnt work.

Re: Archetype: Rock < Paper < Scissor <<< Atom Bomb
A dps should be able to kill a healer in dps spec faster then the dps healer the dps class.
A Tank should not be able to dps down a dps class without healer backup faster then the dps class can kill him.
This is the bit you've gotten wrong.
In rock -> paper -> scissors balance, tanks ...

Re: Dungeon Build SH
Another minor point:
I normally put some renown into parry when im in meatball, because i normally run dungeons in pugs and will pull aggro. If there is a choppa or mara in the grp, they always get guarded.
However, if I run with a guildie tank who knows the sort of damage a squig can produce ...

Re: Dungeon Build SH
just go mid and be happy
RoR.builders - Squig Herder
Generally, this is what I go for. Straight up the middle, stick in meatball mode and just AoE the crap out of everything.
If you're aiming for any sort of speed in a dungeon, then it's inevitable that you'll pull aggro at some point ...

Re: Scenario Rework Urgently Needed – Current System Drives New Players Away
I acknowledge there are problems with scenarios. Going against a premade when your team has an unbalanced side sucks, and it's always going to.
But, i often wonder if im playing the same game when I see these sorts of threads.

Re: im new games tight but
Faction balance changes a lot.
We've been through phases were order was favoured, destro was favoured. sometimes healers were overpowered, sometimes so squishy it hurt. Sometimes there was a melee favour, sometimes ranged.
Devs do their best but there's so many variables they're never gonna get ...

Re: Def shaman
If you wanted to ditch some damage for more survivability, consider dropping the 10% crit tactic for Green Cleanin - this will heal you when you cleanse yourself, and you'll often be cleansing.
Personally, I'd prefer the crit tactic - since a lot of your self healing comes from life-taps, doing ...
