I am currently maining a Witch Elf (currently RR51) and I am improving my gameplay. Right now, I am struggling a bit against most other classes in 1v1 or small-scale scenarios. I am fully aware that the WE hits a notorious "slump" or "hole" around this Renown Rank before scaling ...

I play quite a lot, and it feels like there are way more pops during the very first days of quests. I can sometimes complete the quests in a single day, so maybe the quest duration could be increased to make it more grindy.

And to this nonsense about WE absorb.. It is exactly one-half of the antithesis to repel blasphemy (defensive tactic/ability). Remove that tactic and you bust the yin/yang of WH/WE. Any crying about it without bringing this fact up is disingenuous.
