Big plus for the idea. Especially the mindset of rewarding the player instead of punishing him. 3 hours could be a bit long; maybe 1 hour is already enough if the benefit gets lost with logging out. I don't know what the average playtime of a normal player is, but after 3 hours it could be tending ...
